Fighting the Cuts: Baton Rouge Puts Families First
This Saturday July 26 Baton Rouge will be one of many cities across the country joining a national day of action to say loud and clear our families come first not billionaires not corrupt politicians and not harmful policies.
The Families First in Baton Rouge rally will take place from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at 615 Chevelle Court. This peaceful family-friendly event will bring people together to demand an end to the deep cuts that are hurting children seniors and working families—cuts to Medicaid food stamps school lunches FEMA and other programs our communities rely on.
Across the country people are standing up to say enough is enough. Now it’s Baton Rouge’s turn. If you’re tired of seeing everyday people struggle while the wealthy get tax breaks this is your chance to speak out and stand up together.
This event is fully accessible and open to all. Join us for a powerful afternoon of community unity and action.
