Old Voices, New Heat: Guilty Until Proven Innocent Podcast
Baton Rouge, LA – Seasoned advocates Ron Haley, former civil rights attorney, and Eugene Collins, former NAACP President, are bringing unapologetic truth to the mic with the launch of their new podcast Guilty Until Proven Innocent.
In the debut episode, “Where Public Perception Isn’t Reality,” the duo tackles the Diddy trial and how public perception shapes narratives around power, sex, and accountability—often overlooking male and LGBTQ+ victims.
They also dig into how Black men experiencing mental health crises are criminalized, using a recent BRPD police shooting as an example, and explore what real reform could look like.
The episode closes with a breakdown of the phrase “America First,” exposing how it rarely prioritizes actual Americans and calling on Democrats to shift the conversation to “Americans First.”
Old voices. Real talk. Still pushing.
